About The Position
Hiring Immediately! Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 1st Shift at our Highland, IL facility! The core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. The rate for this position is $20.45 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout - doing various labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily.
Requirements
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Highland, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic area limitation

- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above the shoulder level, push and pull with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to do repetitive action of simple grasping, and firm grasping with or without reasonable accommodations, as required.
- Ability to work comfortably around moving machinery.
- Ability to work in an enviornment with minimal temperature fluctuations, primarily occuring during dock door openings.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
