About The Position

The Production Worker I is responsible for safely gathering or putting away raw materials and assembling goods in production cells. In addition, this position will carry out basic quality checks such as visual inspection for cosmetic defects and functional testing of product, and packaging and adequately storing all necessary items.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED is required.
Experience handling or working in a production line.
Ability to learn new skills and tasks
Effective communication skills
Ability to read and write alpha numeric identification numbers.
Ability to learn to use a RF scanning equipment
Ability to follow pre-established processes and procedures
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to see details at close range
Ability to listen and understand basic information and ideas presented
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus
English (reading, writing, verbal) bilingual is a plus
Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours.
Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Nice To Haves

Experience reading/understanding blueprints is a plus.
Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP)

Responsibilities

Assembling products and parts.
Work on production cell and meet production targets.
Receive, store material, gather components to fulfill work orders requirements.
Enter material transfers via scanner or data entry.
Perform daily cycle count activities.
Follow production guidelines and specifications.
Sort and salvage returned or rejected materials.
Select and inspect part holding racks for finishing processes according to size, shape, and number or parts to be processed per guidelines provided.
Follow BT500 quality inspection standards to verify finish on parts complies to specifications.
Verify paperwork, verify parts and count parts prior to racking or removing from racks.
Report any issues to the production supervisor or lead on duty.
Perform housekeeping activities within work area.
Adhere to and promote all company safety rules and policies.
Performs other duties as required.
