About The Position

We are a global company meeting the needs of foundries worldwide. Our company provides sales, service, and support to customers in the United States and numerous countries around the globe. The main duty of this position is the finish work of aluminum plates. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check. Relocation is not available. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ladle melted aluminum into molds for the production of plates per customer specifications Finish work on aluminum plates including grinding, hammering, and cutting; use of power tools, hand tools, and repetitive motion. Set-up and maintenance of molds Effectively communicate with supervisor regarding supply inventory and product scheduling Cross-training and willingness to help in other departments when directed Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience using a grinder – required
  • Ability to read a measuring tape – required
  • Willingness to train and operate a forklift – required
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk during the entire shift
  • Must be able to navigate stairs & ladders; bend, kneel, twist, & reach overhead
  • Must be dependable and have a good work ethic
  • Must be trainable and willing to learn
  • Must be able to work in hot & cold environments
  • Must wear safety toe shoes and safety glasses in production areas
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Foundry experience – preferred
  • Welding experience – preferred
  • Requires the use of power tools and includes repetitive motion; experience preferred
  • Requires the use of hand tools and includes repetitive motion; experience preferred
  • Willingness to train and operate a forklift – required; experience preferred
