While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for packing fiber caulk tubes in boxes in a quick and safe manner. This position is in our Fiber Caulk Tube plant outside of Dayton, OH. We are producing Fiber Caulk Tubes to a global market that serves the construction industry. We are the world’s largest producer of this package. What you'll be doing: Collaborating closely with other departments and teams Having the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations. Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product. Consistently loading caulk tubes in a box Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to clear jams and help with operational improvements. Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area. Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager. Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies. Helping out other departments as needed Working for small amounts of time on elevated platforms.

Requirements
