About The Position

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for energetic, motivated and results-driven individuals to join our Production Team. Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30am - 3pm Pay $19.50 per hour PLUS $750 sign on bonus.

Requirements

Strong work ethic
Dependable and able to follow instructions
Good math skills
Ability to routinely lift 50+ lbs.
Must be able to read, speak and write English
Outstanding Attendance
Must be at least 18 years old
The ability to pass a drug screen and physical (to wear a respirator) is required prior to starting work should an offer be made.

Production or Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

Stack and dump 55 pounds or lesser units of raw materials into the mixer.
Discharge mixed material into bags of various weights.
Pack and/or place taphole clay or plastic products into pails or boxes.
Heat seal or valve pack finished material bags.
Palletize bags of various weights and sizes.
Shrink or stretch wrap completed pallets in preparation for shipping.
Add water and/or liquids to wet mixer.
Occasionally operate forklift safely and efficiently as required after successfully passing required forklift test.
Clean mixer, equipment, and general work area.
Weigh bonds.
Perform labeling, and housekeeping.
Operate and complete warehouse movements using RF Scanning equipment.
Follow company rules and regulations.
Strive to reduce accidents, personal injuries, and potential hazards. Work safely.
Report all accidents immediately to supervision.
Report to supervisor of conditions that are believed to be unsafe or potentially hazardous.
