About The Position

As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing facility, performing various tasks that contribute to the production process and ensuring that quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded. In this position, you will be responsible for operating batching, mixing, and production systems for block, bagged goods, liquid, or other packaged goods. You will measure and maintain quality and accurate weights of goods on the production line, accurately record finished good production on worksheets, and apply labels to pallets, bags, containers, and shippers. Additionally, you will assist in reviewing inventory levels and completing inventory forms for ordering raw materials or adjusting inventory. Driving a forklift to transport manufactured items from production areas to the warehouse and loading/unloading trucks will also be part of your duties. You will be expected to adhere to company policies and house rules, maintain a clean work area, and wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensuring that physical inventories and cycle counts are conducted as required to maintain accuracy in perpetual inventory is essential. You will interface with office staff on production and work order completions, ensuring proper quantities and counts, while also maintaining effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promoting and maintaining the professional image and reputation of the company and ensuring timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction will be key aspects of your role. You may also be assigned additional duties by management as needed.
