About The Position

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Wax Four Step Cell Operator to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this position will be Midnight Shift (Sunday night to Thursday Night 1030Pm-630AM)-Training on 1st shift M-F 6:30a - 2:30p). This job assists in the set up and creation of wax molds.

Requirements

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must pass visual accuracy test after on-the-job training

Responsibilities

Have the ability to adapt and perform various manufacturing tasks to support schedules. Duties include:
Wax Injection
Wax Inspection
Core Prep
Wax Pattern Dimensional Inspection May include CMM
Wax Pattern Inspection using Non-Destructive Ultrasonic Measurement Equipment.
Set-up, Operation, Viewing and Interpretation of Wax X-rays.
Wax Pattern Engraving
Perform Cell Support Duties
Job can include variety of assignments
Other duties as may be assigned by supervision.
Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Attend all EHS training.
