About The Position

The Production Worker at Hydro Extrusions is responsible for operating machinery and handling materials in a safe and efficient manner. This entry-level position requires basic skills and offers opportunities for growth within a leading aluminium extrusion business. The role involves following work orders, maintaining efficiency standards, and ensuring a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Ability to read and understand basic commands in English.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow all work and safety instructions.
• Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment including a forklift or Combi.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
• Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment or machine.
• Lift and stack product.
• Maintain efficiency standards set for assigned area.
• Maintain good housekeeping of work areas.
• Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.
