What You’ll Do: This position works with Technical Services, Manufacturing, and Sales to provide sample and custom color matching support related to production at all associated facilities. Responsibilities include assistance of other production staff, implementation and execution of the production of samples and small tint orders. Additional responsibilities include processing UPS for samples and orders along with entering LTL shipments for shipping.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operations, sales, marketing, and management.
Must be able to acquire necessary certifications, as required.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts required to analyze Sample data including percentages, ratios.
Ability to create documents and spreadsheets.
Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company’s safety policy procedures and recommendation.
Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Manager and other sales staff in order to provide good color matches for orders and sample request.
Assist with scheduling, tracking, and recording of all data for these requests.
Work closely with Production and Operations staff to ensure all products are produced in compliance with applicable design specifications and establish/maintain acceptance standards for products produced.
Develop and maintain relationships with Sales and Plant personnel to assist with timely process of all samples and orders.
Participate in training and development as required to gain knowledge regarding production and testing of concrete and masonry products as well as other related products.
Adhere to all standard testing procedures according to lab standard operating procedures.
Produce reports for manufactured products as directed.
Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the color tint area and equipment.
Perform inspection and quality control testing on incoming materials, work in-process, and finished goods.
Maintain proper safety procedures and provide safety training as required for laboratory staff.
Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulation.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment, all assigned areas and equipment.
Perform all tasks/projects with accuracy and organized documentation.
Optimize efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance in order to meet objectives.
Maintain effective working relationships with company employees,
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
