We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team in Seattle as Production Worker II for our Defense division. The ideal candidate will have textile experience working with a clicker press and/or running high volume printers, and machines that require loading and unloading of parts. Purpose: To assemble components either manually or with the use of jigs, tooling, etc. to meet production schedule and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • You may be asked to every so often lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours with standard break periods.
  • Ability to perform work assignments requiring repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work schedule as assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate will have textile experience working with a clicker press and/or running high volume printers, and machines that require loading and unloading of parts.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles small basic component to meet demand.
  • Runs various machines for the assembly of components.
  • Runs machines that create single components for manufacturing.
  • Manually inspects components for defects.
  • Packing of individual assembled components per work order requirements.
  • Packing and labeling of finished work pieces per work order requirements.
  • Report problems, needs, and equipment breakdowns to lead or supervisor.
  • Adheres to production safety standards.
  • Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
