About The Position

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Foundry Worker to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday night - Thursday night 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM. New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $21.58; After 12 Months: $23.92. Position will receive an hourly 'shift premium' while assigned to an off-shift.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Report all job-related illness and injuries.
• Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EH&S training.

Responsibilities

• Deplate, Dewax and Inspect / Wrap molds for Casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.
• Remove molds from the output dry tunnels, remove hardware from molds and record mold weights.
• Load and unload autoclave & continuous Dewax oven.
• Perform the Core Reclaim operation when needed in the Equiax Foundry.
• Perform mold wash / inspection/ mold wrap and boroscope operation.
• Operate attendant equipment.
• Transport materials and molds as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Clean and prepare hardware for wax assembly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of molds processed.
