Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Crystal Verification Technician to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight position are Sunday Night through Thursday Night 10:30 PM – 7:00AM . Training on 1st Shift. This position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift. Anticipated Pay Range: $23-$25.50 per hour. The Crystal Verification Tech has nonconforming product disposition authority to review product non-conformances as part of continuous improvement. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals. Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations. Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To visually inspect the grain integrity of SC and DS castings to specific customer requirements and with the aid of a real time image computer program, analyze the internal properties. To perform any rework operations, e.g. belting, RX, spot etch, to complete the inspection process in an expeditious manner to meet customer schedules. Performs other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
