About The Position

The Marzetti Company manufactures and sells specialty food products, including retail brands like Marzetti® dressings and dips, New York Bakery™ garlic breads, and Sister Schubert’s® dinner rolls. The company also has exclusive license agreements for various sauces and dressings from popular restaurant chains. The mission of Marzetti is to enhance every meal with high-quality, flavorful food, and the team is dedicated to creating great tasting food and building lasting relationships. The Production Line Team Member position includes various roles such as Inspector, Processor, Packer, and Palletizer, with responsibilities that support food safety and quality standards. The work hours are Sunday to Thursday from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential for mandatory and voluntary overtime.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or General Education (GED) preferred.
• Prior Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Willingness to learn skills necessary for data input into various systems.

Responsibilities

• INSPECTOR: Carefully inspects raw materials and processed pasta to ensure quality standards are met.
• PROCESSOR: Shapes and rolls pasta, mixes ingredients, and assists with sanitation.
• PACKER: Ensures correct product packaging, sorts and stacks products, and maintains sanitation.
• PALLETIZER: Checks pallets for condition, verifies codes on boxes, and stacks boxes correctly.
• FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies food safety and quality principles as per Marzetti policies.
