About The Position

As a Production Worker at Sonoco, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. This position reports directly to the Shift Supervisor and involves aiding in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Safety is the top priority of every employee, and you will strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Training will be on the 1st shift for approximately 1 month until moving to the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely and follow all safety regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Catch, bundle and stack partitions.
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly.
• Determine bad partitions and separate from quality product.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
• Work well with other employees and communicate effectively.
