About The Position

As a Production Worker on the 2nd shift at Wabtec Corporation, you will be responsible for assembling Fin & Tubes to headers, swaging tubes, spot-facing tubes, performing pressure checks, and occasionally welding and washing core assemblies. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow blueprints to position parts accurately. You will also be using pneumatic drills to remove small quantities of metal and assembling test plates with bolts/nuts to pressure test units under water to ensure they are leak-free. Training and use of an overhead hoist are required to safely move Fin & Tubes and complete assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Fin & Tubes to headers.
• Swage tubes and spot-face tubes.
• Perform pressure checks and occasionally weld.
• Wash core assemblies as needed.
• Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled by following blueprints.
• Use pneumatic drills to remove small quantities of metal.
• Assemble test plates with bolts/nuts and pressure test units under water.
