About The Position

The Production Worker is generally responsible for the production and quality of finished cases. Specifically, the Production Worker is responsible to form cases, place/orient product inside those cases, label cases if appropriate, and ensure those cases are properly sealed and palletized. A Production Worker is also responsible for any necessary rework.

Requirements

• Proven experience as assembler - Preferred
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
• Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute position
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visual inspection of label placement, case codes, piece count and orientation as specified by the product standard and their supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area that is consistent with his Supervisor's instructions.
• Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices.
• Responsible for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
• Must report issues, malfunction or defective parts in a timely manner to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by management.
• Check output to ensure highest quality.
