About The Position

Accurately pin and weld upper receiver assemblies and AK rifles per the work order.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience running a MIG and TIG welding machine.
• Experience building AK and AR rifles.
• Experience running a drill press.
• Ability to properly use machining equipment and hand tools.
• Patience, Persistence, and problem-solving skills are very important.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Very high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• This position may involve access to technology or software source code subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Employment is contingent on verifying U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license/confirming the availability of a license exception. Applicants must provide information for export control screening, which will be reviewed for compliance. Palmetto State Armory may elect not to pursue a license or exception and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis.

Responsibilities

• Install muzzle devices, ensuring concentricity.
• Pin and weld upper receiver assemblies as well as AK rifles.
• Assemble upper receivers and barrel assemblies, if needed, per the Bill of Materials for pin and weld
• Maintain accurate and consistent production with little to no quality control issues.
• Is responsible for producing a quality product, without making tooling marks or blemishes.
• Properly handle & clean the parts before assembly.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties, as assigned.
