About The Position

We function as a recruiting partner to several companies in the Midwest. We do so with Reliability, Faith, and integrity, with Faith at the center of it all. Our partner designs and manufactures heavy haul semi-trailers. Headquartered Northeast Iowa, they take pride in their commitment to build the most durable, specialized, open deck semi-trailers on the road today. This job is responsible for assembling and welding components required to build large steel trailers.

Requirements

Welding: 1 year (preferred)
Reliably commute within the Northeast Iowa are where the job is located or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project.
Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using various equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
Responsible for manufacturing products according to the specifications and standards of the customers.
Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
Lift and carry heavy items and moving components by operating an overhead crane.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Wear proper personal protective equipment.
Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
