About The Position

As a Production Value Stream Supervisor, you will lead shift operations within our cannabis production and packaging department. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating production activities to ensure consistent output, quality, and compliance with industry regulations. In this role, you will oversee a team of 100+ hourly Production Technicians and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow continuity and maximize operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing and understands how to inspire performance, uphold standards, and adapt quickly in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a production lead or supervisory role in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams of 50+ employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiar with inventory systems and compliance tracking tools such as METRC.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, specifically 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Monday through Friday with flexibility for Saturday overtime.
  • All candidates must be willing to submit to a background check to be considered for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred (not required).
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership & Supervision Lead and supervise a value stream of 100+ hourly employees during assigned shifts to meet daily production goals.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules, operational targets, and KPI metrics (throughput, yield, labor efficiency).
  • Conduct bi-hourly audits to ensure teams are tracking toward goals and maintaining quality standards.
  • Coach team members on process adherence, proper techniques, and expectations.
  • Open the shift by arriving at least 15 minutes early to confirm readiness of materials, staffing, and workstations.
  • Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate records of production data, batch traceability, and METRC entries in accordance with state cannabis regulations.
  • Oversee proper labeling, SKU tracking, batch IDs, and sanitation logs.
  • Enforce and monitor GMP, PPE, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workspace.
  • Operational Coordination Partner with the Production Manager to allocate labor and equipment effectively based on the production plan.
  • Report any deviations in staffing, material shortages, or process bottlenecks in real-time.
  • Support operational readiness by ensuring all supplies, materials, and documents are in place before each shift.
  • Team Engagement & Culture Promote a high-performance, positive work environment aligned with Jeeter's values and culture.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance issues and escalate to the Manager/Director as needed.
  • Provide real-time feedback and drive accountability while supporting employee growth and engagement.
