About The Position

The position involves performing various maintenance and operational duties within a facility, ensuring safety for all employees and operators. The role requires extensive functional and operational knowledge in several areas, including equipment maintenance, cleaning, and organizational tasks. Employees will be responsible for changing out filters, clearing raw material piping, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness in and around the facility. Additionally, the role includes seasonal lawn maintenance and requires certification in operating forklifts, man-lifts, and sweepers. The position also demands the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, necessitating climbing and the use of specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Change out filters in receivers and hoppers throughout the facility as needed.
• Clear raw material piping when lines become plugged or inoperable.
• Perform designated preventative maintenance tasks per the daily/weekly schedule.
• Conduct cleaning and organizational tasks as designated, including the roof of the building, outside lot, inside rafters, and lines.
• Paint equipment and structures throughout the facility.
• Perform seasonal lawn maintenance.
• Become certified in the operation of forklifts, man-lifts, and sweepers.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required, including climbing utility ladders on silos and hoppers.
• Report broken equipment and adhere to the code of conduct on the radio.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with shift supervisors, team leaders, quality personnel, and maintenance.
