About The Position

As a Production Trainer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our production teams. You’ll build and deliver training for one dedicated department, guiding new hires as they grow into Loan Specialist and Loan Officer roles. This is more than just presenting material. You’ll motivate, coach, and assess trainees as they develop their skills, helping them gain confidence and competence in the mortgage process. Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing: Building and delivering curriculum for your assigned department, creating clear and engaging learning paths for trainees. Facilitating new hire training sessions and leading continuing education courses to keep knowledge fresh and relevant. Developing skill builders that strengthen understanding of the mortgage process across the organization. Coaching and assessing trainees, providing feedback that helps them grow and reach competency. Managing the performance and development of your assigned trainee class. Supporting trainees as they transition into Loan Specialist and Loan Officer roles. Contributing to a strong team culture by jumping in to help where needed, excluding licensed activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with First Residential and or Veterans United, ideally as a Loan Specialist or Loan Officer.
  • 2+ years of mortgage production or operations experience.
