The Production Trainer - 2nd Shift position at Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and execution of training systems. This includes developing and innovating training programs to support manufacturing and peripheral groups. The role involves maintaining and enhancing quality systems, communicating certification and training needs, and introducing training system upgrades. The position requires planning and organizing project assignments of substantial variety and complexity, solving complex problems, and developing projects from concept to completion. The shift for this position is Monday to Thursday, from 3:40 PM to 2:10 AM, with some potential for overtime.

  • Develops and implements training systems by identifying basic training needs and recommending effective methods.
  • Maintains and enhances quality systems by resolving problems with existing processes using customer feedback.
  • Communicates certification and training needs by reporting manufacturing personnel training and knowledge gaps.
  • Recommends solutions to close training gaps.
  • Introduces training system upgrades by implementing more efficient technology and methods.
  • Supports business processes outside of manufacturing by promoting consistency between systems.
  • Troubleshoots automated systems by identifying and researching problems.
  • Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
  • Establishes priorities of project assignments and solves complex problems.
  • Develops and implements projects from concept to completion.
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience or equivalent combination.
  • Extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret advanced data to resolve complex problems.
  • Experience performing in a quality system environment.
  • Associates Degree or some college credits.
