CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Test Technician located in Dulles, VA. The Production Test Technicians support our Production Team by testing assemblies and components, performing verification and validation activities, developing and implementing test fixtures, automated test methodologies and data collection devices. This position will work closely with Engineering to ensure our tests fully verify the operation of the assembled equipment.

  • Test and inspect basic electrical and electronic subassemblies, assemblies and systems to assure conformance to schematics and company and customer specifications.
  • Set-up, calibrate and operate a wide variety of test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
  • Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs, testing procedures and safety rules.
  • Troubleshoot digital and RF/mixed signal circuit cards to the component level.
  • Perform basic circuit analysis to diagnose probable causes of malfunctions or failures where such causes may be directly traceable to the design and recommend to the Engineering Department the required changes.
  • Meet production deadlines.
  • Take test data and record information on data sheets.
  • Present test records/results in numerical and graphical form to make data driven decisions.
  • Responsible to manage all associated laboratory equipment for calibration and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to cross-train and work in other areas as assigned.
  • Serve as a backup RMA Administrator as needed.
  • Works through the RMA backlog to perform incoming and final test.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Ability to obtain TS SCI clearance.
  • A self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills.
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical field and 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with lab equipment (including but not limited to spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings (mechanical and electrical).
  • Have a good working knowledge of digital and analog RF circuits.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Debian).
  • Ability to interface with all levels of internal management, as well as program sponsors and external contractors.
  • Manual dexterity to work with simple hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers and soldering equipment.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and C languages.
  • Programming and troubleshooting digital control circuits along with microwave experience.
  • Direct and demonstrated experience in debugging of RF systems.
  • Programming experience with micro-controllers, and embedded Linux.
  • CompTIA Linux+ or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA).
