Think that's cool? Keep reading: The Role Set up and conduct Preventive Maintenance of equipment and machinery following procedures, ILS Booklets and Tech Manuals. Have ability to interpret drawings and locate shipboard installed equipment. Document discrepant and completed Preventive Maintenance in an electronic format. Be mechanically inclined with ability to work with motors, pumps, fans, cooling units etc. Have ability to use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.

Requirements

  • Must have Associate's degree or other 2 year technical degree in a related discipline and 1 year of experience in PM, Electrical, Automechanics, or Machinery.
  • HS Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in PM, Electrical, Automechanics, or Machinery.
  • A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Must be able to work at extreme heights.
  • Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions.
  • Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as required by Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Word, Access, Excel, & Power Point.
