Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned production tasks necessary to produce membrane filtration elements.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the Employee Handbook.
• Retrieve production materials and tools from storage and transport them to the appropriate workstation.
• Return tools and excess materials to their original storage locations and maintain a clean production area.
• Operate various pieces of automated equipment including a circular saw.
• Measure, fold, and tape plastic sheets.
• Carry multi-layer packs of plastic sheets weighing up to 20 pounds between workstations.
• Lift cylindrical parts weighing up to 40 pounds from the floor to a height of 5 feet.
• Conduct defect testing using pressurized air and vacuum.
• Seal defects and glue components together using liquid curable plastic adhesives.
• Test product filtration efficiency using a test system designed to operate safely at up to 300 psi.
• Record necessary data and observations, reporting to the Production Foreman.
• Vacuum pack and box the filtration products and assemble boxed products on pallets for shipping.
