Schedule: S-S, 8-5; On Call Rotation every 4 weeks (which includes nights and weekends). Job Description: Respond to service calls as needed to extract water, remove materials affected by water, clean up after fire damages, disinfect/remove materials affected by mold or remediate bio-hazards. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment and warehouse per assignment. Ensure that office personnel have the information and documentation needed to process jobs.

Requirements

  • Effective oral and written communication
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Currently possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Exposure to chemicals
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
  • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred but not required
  • IICRC certifications preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of DryBook or Mica

Responsibilities

  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
  • Set up equipment for each project then leave job site clean and orderly
  • Perform production processes following SERVPRO ® production guidelines per work order (DryBook)
  • Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief, other technicians and office personnel
  • Understand and follow safety guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling
