About The Position

This Production Technician position involves various tasks within areas such as Miscellaneous Paints/Inks, Synthetic, or Synthetic Pumping. Key responsibilities include batch mixing, handling and pumping chemicals, and transferring products between containers. The role also requires the use of a forklift and general maintenance housekeeping. Candidates must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 60 lbs. The company offers an employee retention bonus, payable after 180 days of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification with minimum 6 month experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective positive working relationships with other employees and customers
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. frequently on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Batch mixing according to specifications
• Handling of chemicals with the proper use of personal protection equipment
• Transfer of and/or mixing of products from one type of container to another
• Use of forklift to perform job responsibilities
• Warehouse product organization
• Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work area
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
