We have an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products by performing line assembly operations to produce and assemble through Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent Preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create a highly effective team environment.
  • Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power hand tools.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
  • Steel-toed footwear is required.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.
  • Flexibility to rotate on the line.
  • Be packing small components and packaging operations.
  • Must be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department.
  • Must be able to use fine hand manipulation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
