About The Position

Kaiser Aluminum Kalamazoo is looking for Production Technicians to join our D shift. This is a full-time opportunity with alternating 3 and 4-day work weeks, shift hours are 6:00pm to 6:00am. Best-in-Class new hire orientation and training You will receive the opportunity to complete additional job training to increase your base hourly wage to $22.08. Incentive bonus based on plant performance, 0% to 20%, paid monthly. Perfect Attendance Program. Monthly drawings up to $350.00, yearly drawing for $10,000. Eligible after 90 days of employment. The Production Technician is responsible for operating automated equipment associated with the processes of extrusion or casting aluminum. The Production Technician must embrace these responsibilities while following safe practices, standard operating procedures, and meeting quality requirements for our customers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Six (6) months relative work experience (ex. agriculture, light manufacturing, product assembly, restaurant industry, or relevant experience)
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Aptitude and drive to learn professional skills to help advance your career.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment and on problem solving activities.
Must be able to work night shift 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating a forklift and other mobile equipment, a plus.
