About The Position

Stand-By Personnel is hiring Production Techs for immediate openings in Seneca. The Production Tech will perform precision mechanical and automated assembly in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to meet strict quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen
High School Diploma required
Must be able to obtain ATF Clearance (Energetic Devices Facility)
Must pass extensive background check (zero felonies) and drug screen
Strong attention to detail and quality-first mindset
Proven reliability and excellent attendance

Nice To Haves

Certifications in electronics soldering, spot welding, crimping, laser beam welding, ESD, DOT packaging, X-ray (Level I or II), brazing
Experience operating manual or automated assembly equipment
Experience with automated pressing equipment dies
Previous manufacturing or automated systems experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
Self-starter with high energy and sound judgment
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly, potting, soldering, and spot welding
Assemble products according to technical drawings and blueprints
Conduct product testing using electronic volt meters, helium leak testing equipment, and digital X-ray systems
Process electrodes (clean tabs, sort defects, assemble cells, activation)
Set up and program equipment such as laser beam welders
Operate automated systems including winders, wrappers, filling systems, stackers, welders, presses, grinders, coating and slitting equipment
Perform product quality self-inspections
Collect and organize process and product data
Meet production deadlines while adhering to safety policies
