About The Position

Looking to continue your career in an Assembly role? Aspiring to be apart of a unique, creative Assembly team? Consider our Production Technician role with Bastian Solutions! A Production Technician I will be responsible for assembling purchased and manufactured components per engineering drawings, standard visual inspection and other meeting additional specifications into a final product while meeting rigorous safety and quality standards. These will be assembled units for Material Handling Equipment projects.

Requirements

Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
High School diploma/GED is required; Technical certifications/trainings are encouraged
Experienced in one or more of the following work environments: Assembly, Offline Assembly, Advanced Assembly
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. on a repetitive basis

Responsibilities

With guidance, maintain all documentation processing in a timely manner, with accuracy
Read and follow standardized work and position instructions to assemble, inspect and prepare for shipping product with efficiency
Rotate job assignments with department as needed; sign off on work performed for allocation purposes
Communicate effectively with team members, attend all team meetings, and complete required trainings
Ability to operate heavy duty equipment per safety protocols/procedures
Maintain OSHA level safety protocols and follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Report any potential occurrences or delays to immediate Team Lead personnel
Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player----taking direction when needed
Perform 6S duties as required by the facility
