About The Position

Join the Nirvana Cannabis Team! This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing wholesale production team in the cannabis industry. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Production Technician ready to work hard and grow with us. The Production Technician supports the manufacturing, packaging, and quality control of cannabis products for retail. This role works closely with the production team to ensure products are created efficiently, meet internal quality standards, and remain compliant with state regulations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working well in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

Requirements

  • At least one year of related experience in a production, warehouse, or fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, or packaging is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of cannabis compliance and manufacturing best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of various cannabis products, including but not limited to dried flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, and edibles, by following SOPs and production schedules.
  • Operate equipment such as scales, mixers, labelers, and filling machines safely and accurately to support efficient production and packaging.
  • Accurately measure, mix, and handle ingredients or materials in accordance with formulation guidelines and production requirements.
  • Package finished cannabis products into compliant containers, ensuring all labels are accurate and meet regulatory standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks to identify product inconsistencies, defects, or deviations from SOPs.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy by logging material usage, tracking product movement, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, tools, and equipment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and state compliance regulations.
  • Follow safety protocols for operating machinery and handling cannabis products, ensuring all procedures meet health and safety standards.
  • Complete all production logs, batch records, and documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner for compliance tracking and internal reporting.
  • Collaborate with the production team and supervisors to meet daily output goals and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Assist in additional duties as assigned by production leadership to support team operations.
