We are seeking a Production Technician to efficiently facilitate production processes, ensure product quality, and contribute to the overall success of the production team.

So, what will you be doing as a Production Technician?

Requirements

• Able to pass various welding certifications tests
• Skilled at grinding, as well as operating and maintaining machinery
• Finishes product through use of various manual and power grinding tools
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment
• Possess the practical & technical knowledge required to perform the job
• Basic math ability and understanding of mechanical principles used in sheet
• Previous experience with metal fabrication
• Soft skills such as strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of quality control procedure.

Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Sourcing the material to be used in the project
• Measuring and cutting material to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• Assist in production of product and cycle counting
• Works with conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Performs process inspection, certification, and documentation
• Performs material handling, receiving, and shipping duties
• Maintains welding equipment through maintenance activities
