About The Position

Production Technicians at Northwest Ordinance Distilling are responsible for operating bottling equipment, monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, performing maintenance tasks, and maintaining cleanliness of the bottling area. Production Technicians work in small teams where relationships and teamwork help drive the success of the facility. Northwest Ordinance Distilling (NOD) is the first facility in Indiana for Sazerac and the newest facility in the Sazerac manufacturing network. It operates 24/7, primarily producing and bottling Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and other famous spirit brands. Founded on the principles of servant leadership and continuous improvement, the plant team strives to build the most efficient, flexible, and engaged plant and team in the Sazerac Manufacturing Network. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work on your feet, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling and squatting
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy

  • Ensure adherence to all Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
  • Understand and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and best practices to ensure quality standards and performance metrics are met
  • Perform equipment set-up, lubrication, changeover, and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment (fork trucks)
