The production technician supports daily production in a manufacturing environment. Daily tasks may include material handling, shipping, receiving, working with hand tools, processing raw materials including working with thermoplastics. May require data entry, and paperwork entry. Other tasks could include assembly of fans and other components or systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical skills: working with hand tools, measurement devices, etc.
  • Familiar with safety protocols, and PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or production, or assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organized work area, practice 5 S principles.
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment and assembly to meet production targets.
  • Participating in production and productivity meetings.
  • Set up tools and machines for specific production runs and assembly.
  • Inspect components and finished product for quality, recording measurement, and pass/fail criteria.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Document production data, scrap, downtime, and process deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned.
