About The Position

Position Description: We’re looking for a dynamic, high performing Production Technician who wants to learn and understand processes associated with production, repackaging gas, gas properties, and working with production equipment. The ideal candidate has a history working with his/her hands, enjoys following policies and procedures, understands the importance of safety, and is motivated by hard work.

Requirements

  • Desire to work hard and be punctual
  • Comfortable handling hazardous materials
  • Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions
  • Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs
  • Reoccurring pushing/pulling 150lbs
  • Ability to work indoor/outdoor with hot summer and cold winter conditions where high noise levels are possible
  • Strong track record of being safe
  • Ability to perform repetitive work functions in a production environment
  • Passion to follow regulatory requirements and compliance procedures

Responsibilities

  • Methodically inspect and maintain gas and liquid containers
  • Skillfully fill cryogenic and other compressed gases from bulk source to cylinders according to customer orders
  • Assure all gases are in conformance to vendor, customer, and industry specifications
  • Properly bar code and label cylinders or tanks
  • Monitor pumping operations to ensure accuracy of gases through the plant automation system
  • Document and follow all SOP for producing gas and liquid product
  • Understand and learn FDA, DOT, GHS, OSHA, and HAZCOM requirements
  • Strategically organize and arrange product in the fill plant and our route trucks
  • Handling and/or moving gas and liquid containers
  • Safely operate a forklift; loading, unloading, transporting
  • Able to perform basic data entry for DOT manifests
  • Accurately document and track production needs and requirements
  • Communicates with all stakeholders effectively ensures final quality of work
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
