About the position
Stand-By Personnel has immediate openings for Production Assemblers in Seneca, MO. This 1st shift position offers $16/hr and is temp-to-hire. Candidates must have a clean background with zero felonies and pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly, potting, soldering applications, and spot welding.
- Assemble products according to technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Conduct product testing using specialized equipment such as volt meters, helium leak testers, and digital X-ray systems.
- Process electrodes including cleaning tabs, defect sorting, cell assembly, and activation.
- Set up and program laser beam weld equipment.
- Execute process procedures for cell manufacturing and assembly.
- Operate specialized production equipment such as winders, wrappers, and filling systems.
- Operate X-ray machines, stackers, and welders.
- Operate activation systems, mixing, coating, and calendaring machines.
- Operate slitting, blanking, surface grinders, servo presses, and hydraulic presses.
- Perform product quality self-inspections and document process and product data.
- Meet production deadlines under pressure while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to obtain ATF clearance (Energetic Devices Facility).
Nice-to-haves
- Electronics soldering, spot welding, crimping, laser beam welding, electrostatic discharge, DOT packaging/shipping, X-ray (Level I or II), and brazing certifications.
- Experience operating manual and automated assembly equipment.
- Background in automated systems operation in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with setup and operation of automated pressing equipment dies.
