About The Position

The Production Technician role at Golden Aluminum involves the daily operation of complex foundry equipment in a manufacturing environment. Technicians are responsible for ensuring product quality and flow while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements

• Pass pre-employment drug test based on federal law (includes marijuana).
• Work any shift (2x2x3 schedule), 12 hours per shift, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks.
• Basic Microsoft computer skills and fundamental math skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail to identify defects and suggest corrections.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

• Experience in operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy foundry equipment including presses, mills, casters, shredders, ovens, annealers, and slitters.
• Ensure continuous product flow while visually inspecting for quality standards and customer specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during operations.
• Monitor machine calibrations and make adjustments as necessary.
• Set up and tear down machines safely.
• Maintain quality control levels as set by Golden Aluminum.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.
