About The Position

The Production Technician in Snacks Packaging at the Topeka Plant is responsible for working in various areas of production and packaging to produce high-quality products for the company. This role requires adherence to safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), as well as the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High-school degree or equivalent is required.
• 1 or more years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to report to work on time and work the entire scheduled work period or shift.
• Ability to handle and manage stress.
• Accustomed to working in a high-volume, fast-paced, complex environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a 'can-do' mindset.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with others.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
• Assigned shift attendance is required.
• Work in all areas of production and packaging as assigned, including operating machinery.
• Assist fellow employees as needed.
