As a Production Technician - Part Time, you will perform a variety of routine production duties while adhering to Caterpillar's core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment, and sustainability.

  • Perform all work in a manner that meets quality standards and safe job procedures
  • Perform all work in accordance with standard operating procedures and follows standard work to accomplish tasks
  • Perform tasks wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: bump cap, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes
  • Perform regular checks to ensure product meets quality standards
  • Engage supervisor to resolve problems and issues as they occur
  • Meet daily production level goals
  • Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Adhere to our core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment and sustainability
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule where attendance and punctuality are required
  • Ability to safely perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, performing repetitive work
  • Ability to produce quality work at a sustained pace
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, religion or job type
  • Demonstrates ability to follow directions and standard work
  • 3-6 months of manufacturing and/or related work experience
