Ecolab is seeking Production Technician II to join our team in Martinsburg, WV Plant. As a Production Technician II, you’ll help deliver products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. In this role, you’ll operate and control equipment that processes chemical substances into specified products. You’ll follow standard procedures, monitor chemical reactions, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 years of previous experience in a manufacturing plant or warehouse environment
  • 3 years of experience using SAP/EBS
  • Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Completing training and mastering skills required by the position (e.g., Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training)
  • Experience understanding and tracking safety, quality, and productivity data
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
  • Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) and Continuous Improvement Systems
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment and systems to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production
  • Interpret plant specifications to determine required ingredients, product parameters, and procedural modifications
  • Initiate and regulate the flow of materials through equipment such as heating vessels and mixing tanks, either manually or through automated systems
  • Adjust controls and instrumentation to maintain optimal process conditions, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates
  • Conduct in-process sampling and quality checks to confirm product integrity and adherence to standards
  • Accurately document production data, equipment readings, and any deviations or malfunctions during the shift
  • Support line changeovers and sanitation procedures to maintain operational readiness
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen activities, to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to reduce waste and improve process efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with safety and quality protocols
