About The Position

As a Production Technician I at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of life-changing medicines. Requirements

• 0-1 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, >1 year with an Associate's degree, or >2 years with a High School Diploma.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively on assigned tasks.
• Ability to follow cGMP standards and possess computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and directions.
• Prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards and bioprocessing work environment/systems/equipment operation.

Nice To Haves

• BS/BA degree preferred.
• Degree in a STEM field.
• Prior experience or exposure with aseptic/cGMP standards and environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, & SPRs in accordance with cGMPs.
• Prepare solutions, perform cell culture, purification, and formulation activities.
• Train with a qualified Technician on operating process equipment and achieve qualification.
• Follow and execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Contribute to problem-solving activities for non-routine production floor activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing.
