About The Position

Located in Woodland, WA, LifePort is the leading manufacturer of medical transportation and interior products as well as ballistic armor protection systems for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Position Overview: Electro-mechanical assembly of aircraft interior and Armor products, work includes but not limited to sheet metal fabrication, and/or mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assembly by performing the following duties.

Requirements

Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Have basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of common shop tools
High school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to lift and carry up to 40-lbs.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.14 is required.

Responsibilities

Measures parts to determine specified tolerance
Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts
Follows written instructions, note and dimensions on drawings
Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together
Disassembles and replaces parts as required
Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies
Marks identifying information on parts
Interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings.
