The Production Technician supports manufacturing of synthetic oligonucleotides under a cGMP environment for use in Cepheid in-vitro diagnostic products. The Laboratory Technician will use scientific knowledge and understanding to execute and document standard operating procedures to ensure successful manufacturing and on time delivery of Oligonucleotides. They will contribute to the successful transfer of new products from development to manufacturing ensuring robust manufacturing processes at commercialization and support processes to ensure performance within expected parameters. This position is part of the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing team and will be located onsite in Bothell, Washington facilities . The position is part of the Oligo Production team and is located in Bothell, WA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Execute laboratory procedures including solution preparation, operation of laboratory equipment and in-process analysis Perform and document process steps according to defined GMP protocols Communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers to meet objectives and deadlines using safe laboratory practices)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related life science field with 0-5 + years of proven experience
• Ability to think logically, prioritize tasks, be organized, be self-motivated, and work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of solid phase oligonucleotide synthesis
• Manual pipetting and/or liquid formulation
• Prep or Semi-Prep scale HPLC purification
• Use of HPLC equipment or other automated instrumentation
• Working knowledge of GMP regulations
