Take the next step in your career with us! We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Technician (Outside Power Plant Operator - Combined Cycle). This is an operations position that requires shift work. 12 hour rotating shifts 0500 to 1700, and 1700 to 0500. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for operating a 300 MW combined cycle power plant in Bellingham, MA. Employees in this position perform power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Massachusetts Second Class Fireman's License is required, with a willingness and commitment to advance to a Second Class Engineer or higher
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 2+ years
- Valid Driver’s License (NON-CDL)
Responsibilities
- Perform general equipment repair and calibration
- Monitor equipment performance through testing
- Conduct boiler chemistry testing and monitoring
- Apply general mechanical skills
- Apply advanced electrical, mechanical, or I and C skills
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
