Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic English written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Proficient in using a calculator and measurement tools.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Production Technician or manufacturing experience with duties including preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Supply, operate and make minor adjustments to equipment in the Fill/Pouch areas.
  • Perform and document all quality checks for responsible equipment.
  • Inspect product and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur.
  • Operate, monitor and make minor adjustments to manual and automated filling equipment.
  • Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system.
  • Set-up load and replenish production supplies using a powered industrial truck (PIT).
  • Execute Batch/Code changes, tank changes, and sub lots as required.
  • Escalate any inefficiency in the machine's performance.
  • Use tools to measure the product, ensuring the output meets specifications.
  • Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
