About The Position

California Resources Corporation (NYSE: CRC) is a publicly traded oil and natural gas exploration and production company and the largest oil and natural gas producer in California on a gross-operated basis. The Consolidated Control Facilities team is hiring a CCF operator. The starting base wage for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $41- $52 per hour, with a target annual bonus opportunity of 10% of wages paid. The role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which may include day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The Consolidated Control Facility (CCF) Operator will perform remote surveillance and operations across all EHPC assets, overseeing facilities and energy-related processes throughout the asset. Acting as the eyes and ears of the company, the CCF plays a key leadership role in the control room and is often the first point of contact to abnormal field operations. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards in HSE compliance, process improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. CCF Operators are expected to spend most of their time actively monitoring real-time data, dispatching resources, troubleshooting issues, and working with team members to drive performance and reliability. CCF performs centralized monitoring for all field operations teams and serves as the primary remote surveillance and alarm management resource. CCF operators maintain situational awareness by conducting regular field visits/training and building strong working relationships with both field personnel and fellow control room staff. A strong emphasis is placed on mentorship and operational consistency, supporting task validation, and ensuring readiness for alarms, critical equipment events, and abnormal conditions. From a centralized desk, the CCF monitors well performance, tank levels, compressor operations, and facility alarms using a suite of real-time tools such as XSPOC, WatchDog, WebPST, Ignition, and Iconics. The role demands attention-to-detail, strong analytical skills, and clear communication to ensure safe and efficient operations across shifts. In addition to daily operational oversight, the CCF plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying workflow enhancements and encouraging knowledge sharing across the team. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shift schedule: holidays, weekends, days/nights, callouts, and overtime
• Extensive operations experience, preferably across multiple processes within upstream production
• Knowledge of business applications including XSPOC, Watchdog, Ignition, eMaint, webPST, Iconics, and Microsoft Office products
• In-depth understanding of the processes within Facilities and ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to effectively triage alarms/alerts while maintaining an understanding of upstream and downstream effects
• Able to assume CI (Continuous Improvement) champion, change agent, mentor others

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily field operations, including wells, tank settings, oil and water facilities, and compressor stations
• Utilize tools such as WebPST, Ignition, Iconics, XSPOC, and WatchDog for real-time data trending, well performance analysis, and operational adjustments
• Triage and prioritize alerts and alarms to ensure timely and effective responses
• Conduct field pressure monitoring and ensure accurate production data
• Perform RTP (return to production) well procedures and oversee acid recovery activity
• Provide support for ESP (electric submersible pump) startups and troubleshooting
• Track and document condensate dump operations
• Enable or disable tank settings, including ESDs, shipping pumps, and tank operations
• Maintain compressor recaps and follow up on equipment issues
• Respond to and coordinate power outage support across field locations
• Manage facility alarms and callouts; dispatch field personnel as needed
• Assist with production curtailment and taking wells in/out of service
• Ensure all plant operations are meeting customer specifications
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers regarding changes that affect normal operations
• Serve as interim Incident Commander (IC) until relieved by qualified personnel
• Perform safety interactions during onsite visits as needed
• Prepare data and provide explanations for operational abnormalities prior to Production Control meetings
• Ensure operational consistency across all shifts
• Take responsibility for task revalidation and mentoring new or developing operators
• Prepare and maintain clear, comprehensive logs of daily activities to support shift transitions
• Document daily checks and production comments, and provide regular updates to leadership
