California Resources Corporation (NYSE: CRC) is a publicly traded oil and natural gas exploration and production company and the largest oil and natural gas producer in California on a gross-operated basis. The Consolidated Control Facilities team is hiring a CCF operator. The starting base wage for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $41- $52 per hour, with a target annual bonus opportunity of 10% of wages paid. The role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which may include day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The Consolidated Control Facility (CCF) Operator will perform remote surveillance and operations across all EHPC assets, overseeing facilities and energy-related processes throughout the asset. Acting as the eyes and ears of the company, the CCF plays a key leadership role in the control room and is often the first point of contact to abnormal field operations. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards in HSE compliance, process improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. CCF Operators are expected to spend most of their time actively monitoring real-time data, dispatching resources, troubleshooting issues, and working with team members to drive performance and reliability. CCF performs centralized monitoring for all field operations teams and serves as the primary remote surveillance and alarm management resource. CCF operators maintain situational awareness by conducting regular field visits/training and building strong working relationships with both field personnel and fellow control room staff. A strong emphasis is placed on mentorship and operational consistency, supporting task validation, and ensuring readiness for alarms, critical equipment events, and abnormal conditions. From a centralized desk, the CCF monitors well performance, tank levels, compressor operations, and facility alarms using a suite of real-time tools such as XSPOC, WatchDog, WebPST, Ignition, and Iconics. The role demands attention-to-detail, strong analytical skills, and clear communication to ensure safe and efficient operations across shifts. In addition to daily operational oversight, the CCF plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying workflow enhancements and encouraging knowledge sharing across the team.
