About The Position
The Production Technician 2 will be tasked with the operation and control of manufacturing equipment and heavy machinery according to safety, environmental and health procedures, and regulations. The Production Technician 2 will monitor product quality, physically inspect equipment, maintain work area & plant housekeeping, perform general labor, and work with packaging and warehousing as needed. The Production Technician 2 will work various schedules/times/turns as required by business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial experience is preferred
- Computer knowledge for equipment and training is preferred
- A focus on safety and quality is preferred
