About The Position

Perricone Farms, a top citrus juice supplier based in Fort Pierce, FL, is looking for a Production Technician 1 to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking temporary work and looking to make an impact with us during the upcoming season. Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate depending on the shift Shift / Hours: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday @5am;10-12-hour workdays; possible Saturday (If needed)) Job Duties: As Production Technician 1, you will be responsible for and rotate through a range of job duties, including but not limited to the following primary tasks: Emptying or Filling 55-gallon Drums Assembling, Packing, and Stacking boxes Wrapping Pallets with Shrink Wrap Operating Machinery “Grading” or Sorting Fruit Blending Labeling Ensuring Equipment is Functioning Safely Logging Activities Daily Setting up Production Area with Appropriate Materials General Cleaning Drug Free Workplace: Notifies supervisor of unusual problems. Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures. Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP. Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities: Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications. Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system. Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system. Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards. Organizational Relationships: Position reports to Shift Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
