About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read a scale and tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Tend production lines and interact with equipment using HMI/PLC interfaces.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Accurately perform board quality inspections.
• Accurately measure objects using a standard tape measure, six-inch scale, and digital caliper.
• Accurately enter information into multiple databases.
• Operate unit wrapper and perform all associated tasks.
• Operate board grinders and prepare and feed scrap products.
• Operate compactor equipment and associated tasks.
• Properly set up and operate cutting machine.
• Operate printer equipment and bar code machine.
• Operate a tow motor and obtain license.
• Learn and comply with all Owens Corning safety policies along with all other plant rules.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area that is in compliance with 5S standards.
• Maintain high level of attendance.
• All other duties as assigned or needed.
